Since 1994, Headwaters has built 30+ homes, all located here in the High Country. Building only a few homes at a time allows us to focus on all the little details of your home, while also taking into account the considerations of you, the homeowner. Headwaters’ employees typically do all of the carpentry work on a project from framing, all the way through to the finish work. We intentionally choose to remain a small company to ensure continuity of care throughout the building process. We enjoy being involved in every phase of the project. Headwaters generally subcontracts out tasks for only the trades that can be done more efficiently by someone else. For the few tasks we subcontract, we are on site daily to make sure everything is done to meet the client’s expectations, as well as our own.

We hold an Unlimited Building License with the North Carolina Licensing Board for General Contractors, which allows us to do both residential and commercial building projects, our work is a mix of residential and commercial, new construction and remodeling. Since we do much of the work ourselves, we take on just a few projects a year.
